ValkeyConf: The Valkey Community Comes to Prague

Introducing ValkeyConf. On October 5, 2026, the Valkey community will gather in Prague, Czechia, for its inaugural flagship event, held alongside Open Source Summit Europe and organized by the Linux Foundation.
From Keyspace in Amsterdam and Beijing to Valkey Unlocked, this community has shown up every time we've put something together. ValkeyConf is the next chapter. Since the project launched in early 2024, we've shipped major releases, grown to nearly 400 engine contributors, and built out an ecosystem that keeps gaining momentum. The energy and demand are there. ValkeyConf is where it all comes together under one roof.
What ValkeyConf Is About
ValkeyConf is a single day single track conference dedicated to the people shaping Valkey's trajectory. The format puts practitioners and maintainers in direct conversation with each other, with a program designed around the problems, patterns, and possibilities that matter most to folks running real workloads.
We're building a program that reflects where the project actually is: moving fast, expanding its capabilities, and powered by a community that shows up. You'll walk away with a better understanding of where Valkey is headed and the people driving it forward.
More details on the program, speakers, and schedule are coming soon.
Call for Speakers
Want to share your Valkey story with the community? The ValkeyConf Call for Proposals (CFP) is now open. We're looking for talks from maintainers, developers, architects, operators, and users who are building with Valkey, running it at scale, contributing to the project, or exploring new ways to use Valkey in modern infrastructure.
Topics may include: architecture, ecosystem and integrations, features (Valkey 10.0), performance, and use cases and adoption
Submit your proposal through the ValkeyConf 2026 CFP page on Sessionize by August 2nd.
Sponsorship
ValkeyConf is backed by the organizations that believe in Valkey's future. If your company uses Valkey, builds on it, or wants to connect with the engineers and operators who do, sponsoring ValkeyConf puts you in front of that audience.
A sponsorship prospectus is available with tiers, benefits, and details on how to get involved. If you're interested, please check out the prospectus here.
Visa Information
Attendees who require a visa to travel to Czechia can request a visa invitation letter through the Linux Foundation.
Visa requests should be submitted as early as possible to allow enough time for processing. More information about eligibility, requirements, and how to request a visa letter is available here.
